Waters and Bird

I was standing on the bridge over the Aubach, where it flows into the Wied. The Aubach flows between houses, in large parts underground, so the water was warmer than that of the Wied, which was furter upstream - like under the bridge you see on the right of the photo - frozen solid enough to go ice skating on it. Apparently a grey heron had been standing more or less directly below me, but I caught it when it flew off. :D
