Nico was at the zoo, watching the creatures on the other side of the bars walk this way and that. The subtle changes of colour were particularly interesting; she wondered if she could figure out if they had a meaning.
She also hoped that this species having tentacles meant they would underestimate the dexterity of fingers, giving her opportunity to figure out the locks on her cage. The food was less horrible than it had been at the start, as they were figuring out what their new exhibit refused to eat, but she still did not enjoy being locked up.
